In both demos I noticed that the images were too wide apart, they didn't merge in the center and thus they did not create the 3D effect for me.

I'm unsure what went wrong with head tracking support, the only major change was that I activated a trial key for Unity Pro. I'll take another look, and try to unregister the trial to see if that helps. Though I may be distracted, my Oculus Rift is arriving today :-)

In the Island demo, you can adjust the projection center/pupil distance ("7"/"9" keys) and field of view ("6"/"8" keys) if you connect a Bluetooth keyboard, or a gamepad with appropriate button-to-key mappings. I plan to change the default to use half the screen width on small devices (same as the stock Dive demos), which should make it compatible with the standard Dive setup, and only use the calculated value for larger screens where the images would otherwise be too far apart.

In the HMDCoaster demo, you can do the same adjustments by tapping the screen edges.

Going forward, I still think that it would be useful to use a shared intent for config data and user preferences, so that users could calibrate/configure this once and have the setting shared by multiple apps. Things like the field of view and projection center offset depend on many variables including the screen size, user's pupil size, and lens arrangement, and to some extent also on personal preference. I can use the default Dive centered view on my phone, but it's a bit uncomfortable, and moving them apart a bit feels more immersive.

Hello Klaus,

i use to port the island demo to iOS.
How did you fix the problems with the new Version and the old island software?
I was able to insert the dive plugin and i have a correct view, but still some problems with the old js code from the island demo.

best regards
Gregor

This site seems to inspire me a lot. 먹튀검증사이트 Thank you so much for organizing and providing this quality information in an easy to understand way. I think that a healthy era of big data can be maintained only when such high-quality information is continuously produced. And I, too, are working hard to organize and provide such high-quality information. It would be nice to come in once and get information. 토토사이트
