Okay, there’s something that helped me with the similar conundrum. This email marketing benchmarks deep dive finally acknowledges that ‘industry’ is too broad. Example: Tech SaaS (18% opens) vs. FinTech (14%)—context matters. My hack? Track your own benchmarks quarterly and compete against yourself. If Q2’s CTR is 2.5% vs. Q1’s 2.3%, pop champagne. Also, Tuesdays are dead, try Thursday at 10 AM. Thank me later.
