There's an AR app in Google Play (viewR) that uses voice commands, so it would definitely be possible. Not sure how it works though ^_^

Hi!
I just used the google voice API - it's available since Android 4.03, I think...
The only thing you need to do is write a small android plugin for unity
It works something like this:
unity -> android java plugin -> android speech recognition service -> plaintext -> back to unity
Good starting points to learn how to do this can be found

But don't expect too much: The API only works proper in relatively noiseless environments...
