Best practices for sharing ad performance data with clients

When it comes to sharing ad performance, I always feel like I’m walking a fine line. If I send too much data, clients complain it’s overwhelming. If I simplify too much, they say I’m hiding details. Last month I just exported the dashboard and screenshotted it, but it ended up looking cluttered and confusing. What do you guys usually do to balance transparency with clarity?

That’s a classic challenge. I ran into the same thing until I figured out that the way you present matters more than how much raw data you include. One thing that helped me a lot was using https://www.screenshotreports.com/. Instead of dumping a full screenshot, it reshapes the capture into a client-ready report that keeps the important numbers clear and hides the noise. I like that it keeps it simple but still transparent because the client can see where the numbers are coming from. I tried it first with Meta Ads performance and the client feedback was so much more positive compared to just sharing the raw dashboards.
