I want to get Israeli citizenship

I'm looking to apply for Israeli citizenship but I'm completely lost on where to start and who to contact. I've heard there are specific procedures and documents required, but I'm not sure what they are exactly. Do I need to be in Israel to apply, or can I start the process from abroad? Also, are there any reliable services or websites that can help guide me through the process?
