We have just released Cmoar Virtual Cinema 2.0 :)

The fusion sensors are now significantly improved. We also managed to fix a frequently occurring bug that made it impossible for the users to choose between files. Plus, some smaller improvements.

Feel free to test, rate and share the app with others!

@jjggaitan subtitles feature is a great idea, definitely we will implement this function in next releases :)

now when i start up the app, when i go to select a movie's location, it now just says button over and over. I can't actually select anything. It worked fine before this update. I'm using a Nexus 5

@ProsperGames If you add a way to resume the movies at the same point it was left, it would become an app i'd pay for

@bbennett22 Please uninstall Cmoar Virtual Cinema and install it again, after this everything should work as expected :)

@jjggaitan Great idea! In next update we will add movies resume to the point it was left :)

Cmoar Virtual Cinema is free of charge, as this is the way we can support the idea of Virtual Reality on our smartphones.
We may only hope that the app will reach as many people as possible and we’ll gladly take any help to achieve this goal :)

is there anyway you can explain this in a little more detail(what app you used, etc.) that sounds pretty damn amazing!

sure

1st you must have root to be able to mount a samba share
2nd your kernel (rom) has to support cifs/nfs mounting (i use cifsmanager https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ws.plattner.cifsmanager )
3rd they way the virtual cinema now works is that you can only select files from /sdcard , so you have to mount the share so that its available on /sdcard
for my phone (lg g2) i mount it on /data/media/0/cifs so i can select /sdcard/cifs from the app.

This might be a long shot, but would you ever consider trying to make this app usable for multiple phones at once? One video host, multiple individuals in the same virtual theater together? I would absolutely love to see this happen, and I love this app you've made (especially the design of the hands-free control)! Keep up the great work.

@3Androin3icus3
Yes it is certainly long shot but we consider it :)

Ahh and Update
We've just fixed a bug that caused problems with proper playing of Side by Side movies. Now it works just perfect, producing the mind-blowing effect. Everyone must check this out!

By the way, everyone had Durovis Dive and it is great but you should check Cmoar on kickstarter, you might be intrested :)

Thanks a lot izzo! I was using es file explorer and I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to mount my ftp to my local drive. I'll download cifs manager and give it a shot. Thanks again for the reply

Ever since the update I can't choose my row anymore. I can choose my seat, but not the row. You have fixed the drift though, which is awesome. I wish that you would share your solution with everyone so that I can play all the games without drift.

As for checking the Kickstarter. I did. I would support you if I had the money. I really like the interchangeable lenses idea. Unfortunately I am very, very poor right now. I don't even have a Dive. I just made my own and I doubt it's nearly as good. :(
