LG G3

I am considering getting an LG G3 and I hope to use it as an HMD both for movie viewing as well as trying out games/demos.

I have no idea what I'm doing. I am completely new to this.

I think at first I'll try to make some goggles using cardboard and duct tape.

What kind of lenses should I get for this phone for best view angle and which is best to get the most out of the device for movie viewing.

I don't see many people talking about using this phone as an HMD. Am I missing something? What are the pros and cons of using this phone as a HMD?

I've made goggles using these lenses and It works real good! Think with the 2k display you are in for a treat!!!!

I've made the holder from foam and ski goggles.
Be sure to checkout Goshow for viewing movies, is better then MXplayer.( Set aspect ratio to 32:9 and download SBS 3d movies or trailers.
With MX player you have to move your eyes around to see the movie, with go show you are in a virtual theatre! also capable of 3d
