play normal 2d games on dive?

Morning guys,

I was wondering if anyone knows if it's possible to create an app that basically splits the screen in half and mirrors what's on one side to the other? My thought is that there are lots of good 2d games available such as gta, modern combat, need for speed etc which would be good to play on the dive in 2d.

This has been suggested a few times. It's apparently very difficult and would require rooting your phone, so not likely to happen.
