can anyone help? There a few Rift based apps using Stereo3d pictures in frames.
In simple terms they make this work by rendering one image at layer 1 and another layer 2 and then set the left and right cameras to view only their appropriate layer
Have been experimenting with the DIVE SDK and cannot get this to work. Anyone else find the same or have a solution.

Hey dude. I'm curious about this too, as I'm sitting on a bunch of great stereoscopic content, but haven't tried it yet. Would it work by assigning overlaying left/right objects to respective camera culling masks?

Yes got it working using layers in the end. Had the images reversed so no great effect.
