Card counting in online blackjack?

Has anyone here tried card counting in blackjack? I know it’s possible to reduce the house edge by counting cards in live games, but I’m not sure how practical it is for online casinos. Any tips or experiences with this strategy?

Card counting is definitely effective in live blackjack, but it’s nearly impossible to use in online games due to how frequently the decks are shuffled. Some online casinos use continuous shuffling machines, making it harder to track the cards.Style guide for casino nights which explores casino game strategies, points out that while card counting is a legitimate strategy in physical casinos, the dynamics of online play make it much less practical. Stick to other strategies for reducing the house edge in online blackjack.

I’ve heard card counting can work in live games, but online casinos are a different story. Most online platforms use automatic shuffling, so it’s much harder to keep track of the cards. Some live dealer games might let you use the strategy, but it’s tricky and not always as effective online. If you're set on trying it, just be aware that online casinos are usually pretty quick to spot it.
