Hi,
first of all: I think that dive is a very nice idea, congratulations.
Please forgive me if this topic has already been raised, but I could not spot it when peeking through the forum.
One thing I do not understand: It seem unnatural to me to (e.g.) set the walking direction by moving my head. After all I can perfectly look to the side when walking in reality
Will dive provide means to recognize movement of a game controller? This way rotation of my _body_ would influence walking direction while I am still able to walk straight on and look around.

Hi,
I guess my post was a bit premature. After thinking about this for a bit I think this should not be responsibility of dive.
Rather should developers support use of a headtracker (e.g. dive), a "bodytracker" (e.g. via a gamepad strapped to the chest
) and a gamepad.
This way crouching, jumping etc. should be quite natural as the game could detect if the bodytracker makes quick vertical movements. However, I'd be interested in how people are able to control a game this way, since to run around a corner the user would only have to turn the body which could well feel weird ?!
How far will motion tracking of the body evolve in your opinion? Do you think it would make sense to track motion of (e.g.) both feet, waist and chest for some kind of "real time motion capture" (now walking "on the spot" is possible but still stuff like walking backwards could be impossible to implement naturally)? Is this possible now or later or definitely out of question?
