Looking for a mattress reccomendation

by slippymane on Apr 15th, 2023 14:42 PM

Hi guys, I'm moving into a new apartment and looking for a queen size mattress. Does anyone have any recommendations? It's getting so overwhelming bc of all the different brands available online. My budget is flexible and would be willing to pay more for a better quality mattress, but my max is probably like 1.5-2k. I put some info below, thank you guys in advance!

- 22 years old, female, ~138 lbs, 5'5''.
- mostly sleep on my side, but also sometimes sleep on my back
- open to any type of mattress but I have shoulder+hip+back issues so a firmer mattress usually feels better

In today's market, selecting a new mattress can be overwhelming due to the abundance of brands and websites. Fortunately, I found an article on saatva vs tempurpedic that helped me make a decision. Learning about the features and benefits of each brand allowed me to make an informed decision.

Hey! Moving into a new place and getting a new bed is exciting, but it can also be stressful. I remember reading reviews for weeks before picking mine. I've had back and hip problems for years and what helped me the most was switching to a foam mattress. It offered enough support but still felt soft enough not to bother my pressure points. Since you sleep on your side and back, something with a balance of firmness and softness might work. Don't rush it — some brands give you 100 nights or more to try it out. I know it feels like a big decision, but once you find the right one, it changes how you sleep. Try not to focus on every detail and go with how it feels when you lie down. You'll know pretty quickly what works and what doesn't. Good luck with the move too!
